Terms of Service

Effective October 5, 2026

The short version: Puzz is free to play. Play fair, keep your display name decent, and don't try to break or flood the service. The games are provided as they are, and these terms may change as Puzz grows.

Who we are

Puzz and its games (Tangle, Split, Slice, Signal, Glow, Coil, and the games in its Archive) are made and run by Noah Sanz, an individual based in Georgia, USA. "We" and "us" on this page mean Noah. By using Puzz you agree to these terms; if you don't agree, please don't use it.

Using Puzz

Puzz is free, and there's nothing to buy. You can play without signing up: your device gets an anonymous identity the first time you open Puzz, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Your link code (Profile → Link Device) is what lets another device use your identity. Keep it private and treat it like a password: anyone who has it can link a device to your account. We can't recover an identity whose devices were all disconnected and whose link code wasn't saved.

Playing fair

Daily times, streaks and leaderboards only mean something if everyone plays honestly. When you use Puzz, please don't:

We may remove results that look fake, and limit or block identities or connections that break these rules.

Display names and puzzles you make

Display names, friend nicknames, and puzzles you create and share (for example with Build) are yours. Don't use names or puzzle titles that are offensive, hateful, sexual, harassing, or that pretend to be someone else, or that include anyone's personal information. We may change or remove a display name or shared puzzle that breaks this rule.

By sharing a puzzle or setting a display name, you let us store and show it as part of running Puzz (for example, showing your name on a friend's leaderboard).

Our content

The games, their puzzles, design, artwork, code, and the Puzz name belong to us. You're welcome to play, share links, and post your results and screenshots; please don't copy the games themselves or present them as your own.

No guarantees

Puzz is a hobby project provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We try to keep it running smoothly, but we don't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that your results, streaks, or friends lists will never be lost. We may change, pause, or retire any game or feature at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of Puzz. Since Puzz is free, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to zero dollars, except where the law doesn't allow that limit.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we'll update this page and its effective date above. Continuing to use Puzz after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your country gives you protections that can't be waived.
